I'm replacing the door panel insert on the 95, found a new one on eBay for $50. Great! Then I go to swap it out. The 95 panel has a bunch of prongs that you slide in sideways. The new panel has one strip in the middle that you push down from the top, & it's a little bit bigger.
Is this a 964 part, or did they change this over the 993 run?

I would call Sunset Porsche and give them the part number (if itis legible) on the "new" door panel insert.

They changed the design for MY 1997 using a rail to fix the panel which now touches the cover of the storage bin. I do not see how you could adapt this unless you change the complete door panel on both sides.
