Check out (as much as I hate to redirect away from here) 6speedonline. Thats where I found mine at a good price (though poorly represented I found out once i got them in my hands)

Got my OEM '02 5-spokes from Wheel Enhancement in Los Angeles. Not cheap, but OEM and lightweight and great.

how much difference is there between the OEM version and the (much) cheaper Italian version?

Visually, I think they are close to identical. There is probably a weight difference though.
I doubt the difference would be noticeable when driven on the street, or to passersby.
