I was under the impression that the Potenza to get was the S-02A, not the S-02. They are pretty different.

In any event, I dig my S-02As.

The S-02A is a Porsche specific design, and is, what--8-10 years old by now? Certainly the S-02 has been surpassed by two generations of tire technology. The advances that have been made in the past five years in handling, ride and longevity are incredible. The PS2 is better in every way than the S-02.
I look back through rose-colored glasses at RE71s, which were the mid-90s tire to have. But then I remember the harsh ride, roaring noise, treacherous cool/rain handling and 6000 mile treadlife. But boy did they stick and turn-in!

Pilot Sport 2, I've had the BS, and the Conti's, think Pilot Sport 2 is a marvel, different compound for the shoulders, sweet on the limit. My tires 265/35 don't have N tho, but MC people here told me not to worry. Gone through 2 sets, now using PS Cup different game though...
