Default Piping between front bumper and wing by headlamp

Has anybody changed these short items of black plastic? Did you have to remove the entire front PU or is it possible to do side by side (ie one-handed)?
Any advice gratefully received!

At some point the PU was repainted and both seals appear to have been pushed down below the surface.
I've found the p-car item on removing the whole bumper, but that's a step too far, so to speak!

You definitely need to remove the bumper cover to install the new rubber piping, which is held in place with stapples (!).

I need to do the same thing. My piping is uneven and just looks old and decrepit from previous re-paint and collision repair. How much does the stuff cost and where is the best place to buy it? Thanks.

Default A caution to anyone planning to do a bumper re-spray...

You should order this rubber seal in advance of removing the bumper and replace it as a matter of course. When you remove the original, it is almost impossible not to stretch it at some point and putting it back in place so that it looks correct is next to impossible if you stretch the seal.

I wasn't aware of this and had to re-use my original seal. It looks like crap and I'm going to have to do it over eventually.

This is another example of Porsche staying with a 1950's solution to a problem other carmakers solved long ago...

FYI, it's a pain in the *** to do. I suggest you have beer(s) handy.
