- where the 4 screws are located that hold the dash pad on ?
- where do we access them ?
The gauge rings are a nice detail touch !

I had to remove the CD player and the AC control unit in order to get to the bolts. I'm sure there's another way to do it but I was already spending too much time with those damn screws so I figured I'd make it easier for my self...
I'll take some photos tomorrow when I install them back so you can see the screws!
I bought the gauge rings from Holger from Germany ( holger.wienhoven@t-mobile.de )
If I'm not mistaken, he is the one making the OEM rings for Porsche, so these are the very same rings.
I paid €56 shipped to my house.

I also have the 3.8RSR tail and GT2 front waiting for paint+install.
Oh, and I just finished installing the DACH-X pipes I bought from Louis here on RL!

I was going to reply to your questions in the post I made but forgot. Sorry!

Oohhh....very nice! Did you get the carbon fiber bits from Marcus? I may have to send him an email
A little update on the progress; I have just finished dyeing all the rest of the dash parts and am just about ready with the door skins as well.
While I was waiting for the dye to dry, I installed some CF bits.
Next up will be the new steering wheel and some black floor mats.

Btw, what camera are you using? Is that last shot edited in any way using some kind of software?

My interior project is progressing well; All the removed parts have been dyed and I re-installed the lower part of the dash and the door skins.
Should get the wheel hub tomorrow so I can install my new Alcantara wheel.
I'm also waiting for a set of brand new black OEM Porsche floor mats from a fellow rennlister who was kind enough to give them to me super cheap.
And some photos:
Also put in this bad boy last night:

Burning Brakes
Looking good. It is worth the time and effort in the end. Be thankful you don't have to dye your headliner. That was painful, but worth it. How much do those silver gauge rings go for? I would like to do white face gauges as well, but I have seen some high prices on those.
Here is the site:http://s94153531.einsundeinsshop.de/...dex.shopscript
Here is his e-mail address: holger.wienhoven@t-online.de
Holger Wienhoven is the owner.
I paid around $85.00US including shipping. It took about 10 days to receive them.
A really nice set of rings. They sit inside the bezel, so you still have the black frames on the outside. They look like factory rings that were an option, but are not availble as rings only. You must buy the entire gauge.
