So your car per DIN seems to be ~1291kg so you are 79kg lighter than stock, this is quite a significant amount.....
Did you weigh your roll cage ? they can be pretty heavy....

A fellow Rennlister (Speedster 94) had some spare euro spec bumper supports cheap (cheap being a relative term). Try him: Harald Jülicher at <automann@freenet.de>.
Otherwise, like you say, extreme weight savings cost money.

Thanks. I am not sure how these compare with those supplied on Hong Kong cars. I am guessing we did not get US spec bumpers.

Replace all that heavy glass with Plexan. Weight savings where it matters, high above the center of gravity.
