Default Grab a towel - '98 RSR pics!

Neil and I spent a few hours on Monday sniffing around AtSpeed Motorsports, a local Porsche race shop. Neil was there for an alignment, and I was there to drool over the following:

993 Cup:

Neil's new steed:

My dirty Dung Beetle:

And again:

I've seen that one, but they want almost a billion dollars for it. Well, $295,000 . . .

Derek Bell will be there on April 5th. I think it's gonna be a zoo.

The front wheels are slightly turned to the left.

The reservoir is to catch the drool.

This doesn't look like a "stock" euro 3.8 RS. Is it a one off, or like an older verison of the current Weissach-built GT3 RSR turn-key race cars? Or did they not even have that program then?

It's a 993 RSR.

Anders, I don't like you! After looking at your car, I found out 2 things...

I HATE the 4X4 look of mine, & I really like the TT wheels!
One more thing, looks like you are missing the fog lights?

I'm in love.

No VarioRam, just a huge plenum, right? Looks like only 1800 km or approximately 1100 miles on the odo. Was this car ever raced?
