Default OT Boyd Coddington Passed away

I was just on MSN.com and I read that Boyd Coddington of American Hot Rods show and owner of Boyd Coddington Customs had passed away at 63yrs old. He and his crew were fun to watch and they built some nice Rides.

RIP and GodSpeed Boyd....

I read that last night. Its a great loss to car enthusiasts everywhere. I was at his shop a few months ago and I saw him walking around. He was an "idol" of mine growing up. About a year ago I went by there an he had just finished a CLS550 for himself. It took me about 5 minutes to find all the subtle modifications. He was a very progressive thinker and will be missed.............

He will be missed, he and his crew have won hundreds of awards and
he was wellrespected by everyone in the industry.
I'm very sorry to hear this, I always watched the show.

Wow, Boyd was a legend. I can't believe it. I loved watching his show. This is a loss for the hot-rod community and gearheads in general. He will be missed.

Sad loss of a good guy. His shows have been running here in the UK and it became compulsive viewing for me and Mrs GG :-(

Wow, that is sad news. My Dad and I have been into hot rods for the last 20 years and I remember the first few cars I saw of his in the 80s well before he became a reality tv star. He really made a tremendous impact on what hot rods have become and to car customizing in general. He will be missed. RIP Boyd.

Wow, that's horrible. Boyd will go down as one of the greats of all time.
