I have one on each car. One is alcantara the other leather.
It is a little small but you quickly get use to it and if you have long legs there is better clearance.
I also have long fingers and like the thickness.

On the track I have to pull the horn relay as I periodically honky at corner marshalls.
Overall a very high quality wheel at good price- even when bought in Euros.

That looks great. I helped Tony install his in his turbo. As good as it looks I remember that the feel really sold me. It is on the long list for mods for me.

Man that wheel looks great! Thinking about getting rid of the Ruf one that I have. Where did you get the wheel again?

Thanks Mel,

I got the wheel from Larry (aka Land Jet) who bought it from the group buy that they did last year from Gert (www.carnewal.com). It;s very similar to the Ruf wheel as they are made by the same manufacturer.

Here is a direct link to the wheel section of the site. It's the "Daytona Black 340mm"

Check out the FVD site (Rennlist Sponsor), they sell the same steering wheel at a pretty good price (priced in $$ BTW). Just ordered the "Silberpfeil" the other day.

Yeap...same wheels as the Atiwe/Raid. This is the link of my "Daytona" wheel on their site. The price doesn't include the hub which would add another $200 or so to the price. The price on their web site seems higher than buying it from Gert, Euros and all...

Chuck,

Thank you again! Every time I drive my car and grip the wheel... I keep saying "Thanks to Chuck for installing this SW". I love it!

Sergio,

Nicely done!! Doesn't it feel like you're driving a different car? Where did you get the Silver Crest?

Dan,

Go with 340MM!

Yeah...it feels like I'm driving a wicked Turbo or something until I get out of the car and I see it's just a cab

I found the silver crest long time ago on ebay. It took me a while until I found the right one with the correct size for the 993 steering wheel. The silver ones don't show up often but I'll keep my eyes open for one. Here is one like mine in gold:
