This is in tangential reference to the "King is dead (M1); long live the King (Brad Penn)!" thread.

Time to get a new sticker for your helmet perhaps.

Why deviate from factory lube specs? I am using the original oil the factory put in. Okay, so it's a little watery, and a brownish black, but still going strong after almost twelve years...

I just got a great deal on oil from a guy I know - he was getting ready to dump gallons of the stuff - and it was FREE!! My engine is much quieter now - no lifter noise, actually it barely runs. Very pleasant aroma too, and supposedly safe enough to eat.

Only drag is doing an oil change around the back of the McDonalds where the guy works.

Speaking of stickers, anybody know a source for Viagra Team helmet stickers? That'd be a hoot to wear on grid!! Okay, back to the serious discussion....

[QUOTE=AOW162435;5102369]I just changed my oil and decided to use regular off-the-shelf Crisco oil. Time will tell if I fry anything.

You guys are too funny. Now I can go back to work.

(And hopefully, stop looking at the latest posts on the "Mobil 1" thread to see if someone miraculously solves the 993 oil crisis.)
