Default Potential Group Buy - Carnewal P93 Alu Pedals

Looking at a possible group buy and putting feelers out here to see how many interested people we get. The number of participants would impact pricing.

The GB is for Carnewal's pedals which are german made and are 100% same as Ruf but without the Ruf logo and Ruf mark up :-)

The "same" pedals are getting copied mainly in Taiwan and usually get a "Porsche" script engraved in them. The rubber dots from the MIT's (made in Taiwan) are known to break off rapidly. Compared to the MIT's which are actually 996 pedals -- Carnewal's pedals are specifically designed for the 993 and 964.

Here are a few photos. We would do the group buy for the pedal set and the foot rest.

Lets see how many people are interested and would commit if the pricing is right.

Man, the exchange rate is a killer on this one. 175 plus 90 for the dead pedal plus 20 shipping is 285 euro or $414 U.S. dollars without the group buy discount...

Edit : Not to mention the $15 that Fed-ex will get from you for Customs.

Not wanting to take any business away from Gert, but you might also want to consider the Rennline pedals.

4 piece = $220 (add on for acc. pedal wings and floorboard)

I'll be in for the rennline pedals. I love to give Gert the business, but it's just too much $$ to buy in Euros now.

I agree, it's a lot of $$$ which is why I wanted to see how much interest we could spark up for a discount.

The rennline pedals look nice but am not sure about the pedal extensions. I personally will either stick with Gert or just keep the rubber

Those are the ones I'm getting - except going for the Perforated kind for better grip. Also going for the Black floorboard and Track Mat.

Question about the Rennlines:

Is the $220 posted here a GB or regular price? -The price on the RL website says $300.

Thanks Jeff. I'll look into the Rennline's... looks like a Carnewal GB is going to be a no-go.

Build Completion initially was April 12th, but it's been moved up to March 20th. Then it will take about 30 days before it gets to me.
