Default Hi Rennlist, new Member with pics

I am new as far as membership goes, but i have been reviewing the forum for over a year. Thought I would let all my friends out there see what I did to my 993nb. My company is Rytek Projektz and I have built some wild cars for GM, but as far as I am concerned, nothing beats the handling and connection of a 993.

My mods have been simple to say the least:

H&R Monoballs w/adjustable camber plates
Sparco Seats w/ Sparco sliders and brackets with BK tunnel anchor
CCW 18x10.5, rear 18x9 front
Toyo Proxies T1-R 285/30ZR18, rear 245/35ZR18 front

diy work completed:
Spark Plugs, SAI Valve, Suspension, Seats, Oil Change w/ Brad Penn 20w-50, duplicolor caliper, hand wash by me only hehehe.

Have fun and tell me what you think.

Dindo

PS: For those that need Sparco Seats, I am an authorized dealer. The seats in my car are Sparco Roasters and they fit perfectly. If you desire this setup, I can assemble the seats and modify the sliders and brackets so you can bolt them right into your 993 without a single drill or mod. Shipment can be made if you are far from me, Ventura CA. I will also include a alum slider tube and BK Tunnel belt bracket. This seat is great if you want the lightweight of a racing seat with the ease of entry for our less than optinum behinds. When the seat change was performed, the car felt faster and was more controlable in the turns. Also, with the agressive H&R setup, the ride was actually smoother. Also, if you need Brad Penn oil, I stock 20w-50 so come by and we can chat.

Beautiful and congrats.

I expect that you'll do brisk local business with RLers on the Brad Penn. How much are you selling it for?

Wow! Great looking car. Love the CCW's. Wheres the pics with the 993 and the Esprit side by side? Very cool. Love the cars.

What do the seats weigh, and how's the access to the back seats? I'd like to get some light weight seats, but I need the back seats every once in a while for the kid. What does this kind of setup cost?

I know what you mean by brisk. In fact, the only way I see it is giving the savings to local people who don't want to order it much less drive 100 miles just for oil. I live in Ventura and there is no dealer so I chose to become a dealer. Since I purchased 10 cases of 20W-50, the savings after shipment to me was almost non existent so I thought why not order it just to provide the service for locals. Maybe I can have a special and make the trip exicting. Order a set of Sparco seats with installation, no charge for the install and receive a case of Brad Penn oil.

Love the wheels. I have the same set with black centers that I use for the track.

The details of the Rytek/Sparco Roadster setup includes:

2qty Sparco Roadsters
2qty Sparco Aluminum Sidemounts
2qty Sparco Track Sets
2qty Rytek aluminum adjust tube
2qty BK tunnel side seatbelt anchor
8qty metric class 12.9 Socket Head M8x30mm
10qty metric class 12.9 Socket Head M8x20mm
8qty metric SS nuts
16qty black oxide thick washers
8qty 1.5"OD x .125" alum cnc spacers
2qty 1.18"OD x .125" alum cnc spacers (BK anchors need this so that the receiver buckle does not move around, provides tesion simular to stock)

Total price includes pre-assembly, modified sidemounts, and instructions to allow user to just remove stock seats and install new seats in less than an hour. Just be very careful removing the fragile oem fasteners.

$1850.00

California residents must add sales tax. If you come to my facility for installation, the install will be free and you get a case of Brad Penn oil just for coming by.

Note, you have to make sure you can bring your stock seats back home as they will not fit in you car anymore.

Esprit and 993 side by side. Pics of my old EVO and the last 2 GM Special vehicle TranzAms my company Rytek Projektz built for Jon Moss back in 2000. Can you imagine, I was given only 3 weeks to build the entire car which included interior, exterior paint and fully built 350 with forged pistons and titanium connecting rods. That to say was fun much like Atan building his many993's. Infinite amounts of money and do what you think the car should be. This beast was as fast as a 1000cc gsxr. In fact, it broke 3 clutches on a speedvision shootout. I didn't think they would test it to the max. I was awarded this construction because of my ties with GM and Jon is a good friend and mentor. In fact, I built the last Trans am show car for gm but it is now a coke can when they decided to minimize their inventory. That one (red/copper) had an overbore 385 forged crank titanium connecting rodsmand close to 800hp on tap with nitrous, a beast to say the least just don't turn. Hehhe. Now, I am just happy to be with the 993 and esprit.

Funny thing happened just a few minutes ago, brisk as it may be. The DHL delivery came to drop off 10 cases of the Brad Penn oil and my neighbor who also owns a 993 bought 3 cases as they were being unloaded. I wished this can continue so that I can order pallets and get the cost even lower. Price is $55.00 a case. Sorry to say that I can't ship them because I cannot compete with the prices of those back east. The Brad Penn West Coast Distributor said that those selling it at 23-40 a case must be selling older inventory because as we all know, oil costs are high now days. If I do ship, it will add about 15-20 dollars to the overall price. If there is no dealer in your area, then I guess there is no choice for protection. I trust Steve and Charles.

Great looking 993! I love yellow!

You should add the RS strut brace! It really crispens up turn in!

I really wanted to add one but when I take turns at max speed, balance seems to be in place. In fact, I can actually feel it pushing a little bit. I wanted to add even wider tires in front but did not want any rubbing. Therefore, based on my suspension, H&R monoballs, ride height, tire width, rim width, camber angle, tire pressure, it handles pefectly with just a margin of push. If I add the strut brace, this will tighten the front and it may affect it negatively meaning the faster wieght transfer in the front will increase the understeer. If I tracked the car more frequently which is not the issue since I don't, I will never know if it trully needs the strut brace.

Is that an S4 Espirit? Love those! S4S would be my ultimate choice.
