I know I am going to have to dig deep into my pocket to make up the difference for the Turbo, since my car won't bring even close to what I will have to pay for the Turbo.
My car has only the leather sport seats. The balance of the interior is vinyl.
Thanks for the thoughts.

Surely the price must be governed somewhat by the TT prices as well as 997 prices. $55-60K seems reasonable considering the mileage and condition.

Your engine seals are probably dried out from lack of use. :-)

well, consumer confidence is plummeting, the R word is floating around daily, housing market is in the titanic, etc. This is not the time for 11 year old impractical sports cars to be gaining value or selling for top dollar. There are a lot on the market.

Furthermore, at 75k, you will be comparing a decade old 993 with the arguable much more capable 997s cars, not to mention the corvette Z06, a year old viper, etc.

Thats a pretty tough space for a 280bhp, 11 year old used car.

$58k. And the similar condition TT would be $78k. We sold two similar TTs at that price in the past 7 months.

For reference, this Guard Red C4S with 1524 miles sold for $67,100. It is practically brand new.

It was dry as a bone the last time my mechanic had it on a lift. I understand from the two previous owners that it was driven monthly unless the weather was too bad. I get it at least out monthly for at a minimum 50 mile drive.
IMO, I'd rather have to replace a few seals than spend the big money for a 60,000 mile overhaul.
I appreciate all of the feedback I am getting with this thread.
The more opinions the better! Keep 'em coming!
Thanks all.

Why do some of you think the engine seals dry out on lower mileage cars? I'm on my second low mileage 993 (10 years old with 10k miles) and the engine has never leaked a drop. I sold my 1995 993 when it was 9 years old with 11k miles and same thing.

I've looked at mid to high mileage cars that the engine was covered with oil.

these guys are typically top of the market.. but this car does not have the UGs yours does.. so this plus 10-20% would be top of the market IMVHO

I'm curious as to why you miss the C4S now that you have a TT. Price difference aside, is there any reason you wish you had stuck with the non-turbo car?

Sorry if this constitutes hijacking the thread, just thought I'd ask since it came up.
