Default Fog light brke scoops

I am looking to replace the fog lights w/ scoops, no lights, any one done that. Biggest concern is appearance. I've seen some that sag. Any feedback??

Maybe you don't need these in the US, but when you install the full size air scoops, you no longer have the 5W parking lights. (called driving lights in the US)
Cars over here need these to pass the yearly technical inspection.

Bill,
My 993 came with a nice set of factory Turbo S ducts with fog lights - the real deal. I really have no use for fog lights and would love to replace these with a set like you mention. Unfortunately, the only ones I've seen are somewhat flimsy and sag. I'll watch this thread with interest.

Hi Gert - Aside from no physical/safety inspection here in the States, those are typically set up as fog lights. It's illegal in many/most regions to drive with the parking lights on.

One day I'd like to replace the holes in my bumper with plain ducts, but as Bill said, many that I've seen are saggy.

Andy,
The only ones I've seen are from Better Bodies.

For the price, the Better Bodies ducts are fine. Not perfect, but fine. Buy 'em, paint 'em and be done with 'em.

+1
If I recall, they're about $100 shipped. I thought they were more than fine cosmetically. They needed a little work with a file to optimize the fit, then primer & paint. Especially with a black car (Andy) you'll never notice the very subtle gaps. Andreas - you may need to file and primer far more than the average man to reach your exacting standards .

"Parking lights" like we call them over here, are the lights that are still "on" when you switch off the ignition but you forget to switch off the lights.
It are the same lights that are "on" when the light switch is in the middle position.
They are not the same as the 55W front fog lights even though they are installed in the same light unit.

Here in Europe and a large part of the RoW you can eliminate the 55W fog light but you still need the mandatory 5W light bulb. For that reason, the TTS air scoops have a 5W light bulb and not a 55W version.

Anyways, I have seen a couple 964's the full air scoops and they look pretty cool.
No doubt that they will be very effective for brake cooling.

Andrew,
You're preaching to the choir. Here's a shot of me in the garage:
