I just wanted to quickly say hello and introduce myself and my new car! It's a 1997 targa, Ocean Blue with classic gray, 47k miles on it. Without a doubt the most amazing car I have ever driven. I don't have any pictures yet but will hopefully remedy that this weekend.
I have been lurking on here for quite some time just trying to absorb all of the knowledge that is bouncing around, and I look forward to joining what seems like a great community. I plan on tackling most things DIY due to budget and a fascination with taking expensive things apart. Yesterday I started very small with the window switch that came apart, have it temporarily back together for now while new ones are on the way.
It's a wonderful thing when I haven't listened to a car stereo in 3 weeks, that engine just sounds fantastic. The @$%! squealing brakes, not so much, but I'll live with it. Ok, time to stop talking about her and drive to work
Congrats, and welcome aboard Adam! You're going to be smiling non stop for weeks on end. BTW, without the pics folks on this board will flame your @$$ until you do
