If there's only one thing I've learned from my sixteen year old son (and this forum): "Once a Poseur always a poser!"

In the M3 world folks put CSL parts on their car for esthetics and performance. Here they put on splitters and tails.

Its not as if I'm going to put an RS badge on the back.

There are many differences between a C2 and RS... translated in short = mega bucks to get close. Good luck though

Cool Investment

For about $75,000 including the cost of a beater 993, maybe one could get close. Is it really worth it? The car would still be an "orphan" with 1995 technology.

I like going the GT3 route. I have sen them in the $70,s....but alas, I will keep "Baby" and continue to putt around with a grin on my face...love that car.

Trust me I'm not taking it that far.

My suggestion to you is to go out and find the 993 you like/ can afford/ has a good PPI and live with it for a while. If you want to put some RS exterior body parts on to start because you like the look - then do that.
Then, once you have lived with the car for a while, start with the slippery slope of upgrades as you learn what really matters to you, your interests, and your budget.
