Great Deal on ebay on OEM carrera door sills

At $100, it's certainly a good buy. I'm just curious how they managed to remove the covers without tweaking the metal?

They actually come off very easy. They are stainless steel and have a 90 degree bend on one edge so the don't bend that easy. Also, they are attached with 2 long strips of double sided tape.
I removed the OEM ones that came with my Cab to clean and remove hairline scratches that were there. The tape was so dried up that it took very little effort to remove. I removed the dried-up stuff with "goo gone", cleaned and re-installed them with 3M double sided tape.
