Upon tooling for these rear bumper covers, and IF you'll offer a center exit option, be sure to tool a 1/8" rebate and 1/8" fillet radius local to the exit aperture with at least .750" return flanges. This will allow you to offer either a close-out panel or a center exit picture frame opening without having to make (and stock) two different bumper covers.
The use of a smart laminate schedule and strategically placed 1/8" aluminum or nomex core could make for a very light and desirable bumper cover. Assuming the use of *good* materials and epoxy based resin system.

And as stated, if these actually fit correctly, then they certainly are a unique design.
Scott. When you make the narrow bodied bumper i'll be first to get one from you.

Chris, I would love to see what your center exhaust design looks like. I have already designed and built mine.
In my opinion, two seperate rear bumper designs are neccessary. One with the center exhaust and one with the seperated exhausts.
Send me a pm as far as your ideas on materials, your experience would be great!
Thanks

Does this mean that I shoudnt share with you the [center exit] exhaust system layout I have been working on for some time now?

Are you also against becoming a rennlist member?

I would not brag on the internet about this dubious activity....and if I did I would certainly not call them "Ruf bumpers". In the boat production business this is called "hull spashing" and there are laws against it.
Anyone who buys them from you is complicit in this.

Thanks. I used to frequent here back in the day with my 911SC and later with my 996. I don't have either any longer as I dumped the latter for an E46 M3, however, I'll be getting a 993 this year. I've been surfing this section learning about the 993 and of course modding. I hope to contribute later on.
