kinesis K20 offsets
seredipity raised her beautiful head earlier today as i was closing a deal on a bumper cover.
the seller also has a set of NIB Kinesis K20s.
Polished lips.
flat matte grey "webs".
crude measurements with a tape show
fronts = 9" wide and ~ 3" from front lip to rear of wheel center and 6" from wheel center to rear lip.
rears = 10" wide and ~ 3" from front lip to rear of wheel center and 7" from wheel center to rear lip.
no offsets stamped or indicated on wheels which i guess makes sense since these wheel components were mix and match to build custom offsets?
Considering buying these and selling my recently aquired 996 TT HS wheels.
Finally the questions.
From which two points on a wheel do i measure to determine offset?
( i thought it was front lip to rear of wheel center, but ~3" = ~ 75mm which seems like a nonsense ET ????? )
anyone else running?
9 X 18 front wheels with 235-40 X 18
10 X 18 rear wheels with 295-35 X 18
or something very similar on a stock ride height WB?
i assume rears will work no problem.
fronts?
thank you
Craig
