front bumper cover
I'm in the market for a turbo front bumper cover, or splitters for my black 95 cab. Any suggestions as to where i can find a good quality one would be much appreciated. Also, is this a fairly easy diy project?

The splitters are integral to a turbo bumper cover. It is an easy DIY project, check out p-car.com for the removal/installation process. I used that process, and worked perfect.

I bought a stock NB bumper cover from a fellow Rennlister who upgraded to a Euro Turbo Bumper. Before he upgraded he filled in the bumperettes. I was only too happy to purchase it from him, especially since it was Arena Red like my car. Direct bolt on, no problem.

Vicrossi, I'd look into having a body shop repair your existing front bumper and while they're at it have them fill the front plate holes and the bumperette holes.
I would think you could do that for less than buying a new front clip (standard or turbo) and then having it preped and installed.
That was my plan had I bought your car.

I just saw it with the black duct tape on it, I couldn't really tell just how bad it was, but I factored it's repair (my version of fix and fill) in my mind into the cost of the car. I was thinking a grand to get it looking right.
That was just my impression, I could be way off and replacement might be the way to go. I would definately check with a body shop first beofre ordering any replacment parts.

Sunset managed to find me a Euro Turbo front Bumper, lower priced than what Gert quoted me, I was just going to pay for it but I ran into a good deal on eBay for almost half the price.

Vic,
I bought mine from a Rennlist sponsor - M.A. Shaw: http://www.mashaw.com/
Give Mike a call - he's a great guy - I'm sure you can search the archive for this.

I had a really bad experience with the car transport company. I bought my 993 on eBay in 2000 and they thrashed the underside of the car probably when they were loading/unloading. Here is a pic of what it looked like before. After I received a lot of recommendations from Rennlisters, I took it to Deschlers in OC. I got the entire front end resprayed, bumper cover and blasted some of the rust prone areas. I am still very happy with the job they did!! .. my wife laughs at me because I still won't take it out in the rain..
