Default What are the most reputable dealers of 993's ?

My purchase is coming in the next few months (as soon as the ZR-1 is sold) and being located in central Missouri does not give me the access to lage amounts of 993"s . What have members found to be the best dealers, as far as good examples being sold. The super high end cars with super low miles are out of my budget so Wilhoit and RPM are most likely out. Any help on this topic is most appreciated.

www.exclusive-motors.com in Charlotte.

They usually have several 993's at any given time.

I think your best bets are private sales. There are always RL cars coming up. get a PPI and take your time.

+1 All of the used Porsches I bought have been from individuals. I live in the Midwest as well and didn't have any trouble finding them somewhat nearby. Take your time you will find plenty for sale on this board.

I wouldnt count out Richard Sloan, he occasionally does have some higher mileage cars that are extremely clean. I have had a positive experience with him.

I was in the same boat. Wanting mid to low mileage and the high end dealers in Springfield area were way out of my budget. A PP or someone off Rlist would be my sugestion as well. Found mine PP in Dallas. After many months of searching I finally found one worthy of a PPI. Wilhoit does have some nice cars though.
BTW where is your ZR1 listed? I have a friend who is a BIG TIME Corvette guy who is always looking. If you haven't sold PM me the details.

I have heard that Tim Holt {mentioned above} usually has a good selection of 993's and he also services them and he's supposed to be a stand up guy.

+1 on Exclusive Motors.... Having done both private sale and dealer sale this past year, I would vote for dealer sale.... The small commission they get is well worth it in my book to avoid all of the running around associated with a sale.

Disclosure: Bob is a good friend of mine, even so, he is a stand up guy :-). I would make the same recommendation regardless.

His selection ranges from pristine low mileage cars to higher mileage
drivers and are priced accordingly.
