Recognize this track?
My copilot shot this picture about a week ago. Here's a hint... it's in the Southeast US.

Victory Lane...what did I win?
"Victory Lane is a private country club style track which is being built near Cobbtown, Georgia. The facility is to be gated and members only, there are no plans to rent the track to marque clubs or to club racing organizations. The road course is planned as a 4.5 mile multi configuration design incorporating a private airstrip as the front straightaway."

Bingo! I thought the thing was a myth, but pictures don't lie. Lot prices start at $675,000. The amenity fees are pretty high as well.
I don't think there will be many airline pilots in that place. Robber Barons only!
Only downside (other than the $$) is that the place is literally out in the middle of nowhere! Those rich folks will have to drive (or fly their private jets) a long way to get their nonfat-double-machiatto-latte in the mornings. Oh wait they will just get the butler to do it!
Quite a track though.

That should be very interesting with cars, planes and extreme wealth using the same surface. Unicom in the cars? This is P-Car N993X turning base onto 15 for closed traffic. I give it less than 6 months til there is an incident. Either car vs. car or plane vs. car. Its bad enough watching the guys on exotic day at Pocono trash their $500K lambos etc. Now watching them put their airplanes in the mix should make for some good you tubing.

Good point. A good friend of mine that knows a number of exotic owners told me this morning that 20 or so Enzos have already been totalled. When you consider how many were actually built that's a high percentage.
Just wait until the Very Lite Jets are zipping around with 100 hour pilot-owners at the controls. The same crowd that used to kill themselves in V-tail Bonanzas will be able to die in an even more spectacular fashion!
