LOL. That's great.
Here is where the original image came from, as well as the internet ranting:

A timely thread indeed.
Just an hour ago, I brought my car in for a PPI. I did this for a gentleman who is buying my car this Saturday. He and his wife are flying in from Seatle this Sat am.
During this process, I have answered normal and expected questions from this long distance buyer with phone calls, emails and pictures. Last night I did a compression test for him, documented with the digital camera. All in efforts to save time and expense at the point of PPI. Also to be courteous and understanding of the tpyical car selling process. I havent asked for a deposit despite having three kind RL folks also wanting to buy the car. I am holding them off until the original person interested in the car refuses to purchase. Even the guy doing the PPI today mentioned that if this car doesnt sell, he would buy it!
I guess my point to this rambling is that a seller has to be patient and understand the process with all of the typical delays / problems involved. Some logistical, some technical. I am jet-lagged, a little cranky, and have a TON of (unrelated to this car sale) things to do tonight. Which reminds me, I had better get to work!!

BTW- join up!
And +2 on what Trintony said, successful PPI is a condition of the personal inspection if you're out of town. Again, I'm pretty confident that this seller has a very nice car, but his "bow down before me" attitude, like the rules don't apply to him, is getting him nowhere...unless he doesn't really want to sell in the first place.
