The whole family drives many of them. Went on a chilly Fall event a few years back up in the mountains near West Jefferson, NC. They all showed up, each driving a car. Bob Ingram's wife was driving that gorgeous '57 Speedster as I recall...with the top down!

Hurricane PCA club was invited out to see Mr Ingrams's latest addition to his stable this morning. He recently took delivery of a Viola Metallic 918 and opened his doors so we could go drool on it. It is a work of art.

Their collection was recently photographed and documented in a new book
Porsche Unexpected Porsche Unexpected
. I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but the photography is stunning.

No affiliation by the way. Just a lucky neighbor.

No kidding about Porsche Unexpected? I didn't realize his / their cars were featured in that book. Definitely pushed me over the edge on adding that book to my collection. They've got some really stupendous early cars and a number of 4-cams, right?

I just reviewed this book for Petrolicious -

It is a superb book, and also (tries to) teach you something about car collection and preservation. Well worth a look!
