I was driving by the Naval Medical Center on Wisconsin Ave in Bethesda last year and in front of me was an orange 997TT Cab with orange and black wheels and the license plate
Hi guys, great to see all of you guys this morning. Place was packed with BMW cars, some sort of BMW events. "Bummer!"
Actually the license plate I had in mind was "Yaestuv" Stands for "ya estuvo", something like that. Spanish meaning "Enough", "This is it", "I had it"
I thought that would describe what I am telling myself about the f-car. I already purchased the domain f-carsite.com
Side note:
Got the car home took the top down, my daughter came out and pointed at the Ferrari shield and said "Pooosh". I was screaming "No! No! No! Nicole, that's Ferrari!!!!"
My daughter's own Puma Ferrari shoe. LOL!
My daugher absolutely loves the Ferrari.. this 2 years old keeps on saying. "I like daddy's car, I like daddy's car".... In my mind I was thinking... Man, her future boy friend is going to have a hell of a time impressing her with cars. LOL!
Congrats Robin. Your daughter is very cute... keep a good eye on your keys
F360s is one of my favorite cars... especially in red... does it have the F1 shifters?
I'm (and I'm sure many, MANY others) are so gealous. My only regret is that you didn't go with the F355, which is the one I'm looking at, because I know you'll put up the most complete DIY and info site, as you have for the 933.
Saw your home brew avatar. Brings back good old memories of when I used to live in Atlanta. I had a neighbor there that did home brew in his garage, he would always ask me to weld up stainless steel contraptions for his home brew setup. It was really cool, he had a tap mounted on the fridge door and it was open tap for everyone. He always wins the local brew club contest and invites everyone to help him finish batches of beer so he can make more...
Man!!!! I missed those good home brew beers, and of course the GA moonshine too. LOL!
I was driving on 10 fwy fri around 4 pm friday afternoon in Ontario when I saw a black C4 on the fast lane with the plates 993flyt when I said to myself "man its a small world".Congrats on a nice car...
SCAT, thanks for the compliment. I always notice other 993's on the road too. They look beautiful standing and in motion. You have my plates correct, except for the order...."FLYT993"
hey robin congrats... beautiful daughter & 360 too. happy you have been able to satisfy that childhood f-car sweet tooth... looks like you may have hooked another. ~ porsche and ferrari oh my!
me thinks you & your 'diy' guruism will create a slight sales curve in the 360 market.
Yes, Robin, the homebrew hobby can be just as "mechanical" as doing Porsche DIYs. I really have more fun building (and modifying) my brewery than I do actually brewing. Right now I'm putting the finishing touches on a 15 gallon copper conical fermenter. It was easier to braze it together than weld one out of stainless. Now if I had a neighbor with your talents, that would be another story.
For many reasons, wish you were back here in the ATL.
