Default New camera

I just got a new Sony SLR and figured I'll experiment taking some pictures of the car. Now I just have to learn how to use it..........

Nice car, best color, strongest engines! Also got a new SLR and I think I need to go back to college to learn how to use it. Seriously I'm considering taking a class at a community college. Hop on over to 6speed, they have a decent photo' section and spend some time on dpreviews.com.

Let the camera mods begin - go price some 2.8 L lens....lol..take a look at Inthair's website, he has some sweet lenses.

I just swapped my Canon 10D for the new 40D. And... I enrolled in a photography class at ther local Jr. college. Plus a photoshop class. Someday, I'll read the manual. Your two photos look great!

I bought it along with a Sony DT 18-70mm as well as a 75-300mm lens. I also bought some filters and a wide angle lens. I always used point and shoot cameras in the past. This thing is awesome. I just upgraded my Photoshop from CS2 to CS3. I bought a new tripod, "studio" lights and backdrop to do some stills and video for my website. Our technicians have been requesting some QT videos of common work related issues. I cant wait to see how it shoots in a controlled environment (lighting). More pic's to follow......

Send me your email and I'll send you some other pic's I took today..

I had to re-size them to fit the 146kb requirements of this site. I shot them full size, but they are 6mb's each.

Matt- thanks for the tip: As I was on the verge of one of Canon's 870 models but the G9 is only a bit more and seems to be more in line with my needs...

Thanks for the compliments. I have CS2 on my Mac, but don't use it as much as I should. I just installed "Final Cut" on the Mac also (video editing) but have not used that much yet. I need to get back to playing around with CS because it is very easy to forget how to use all the utilities.........

Really nice looking pics. Your car looks so Alpine White in that barn picture but looks a lot whiter in the other. Surprising how it changes the look of the car.
