The N/A fan turns at 1.6 x crankshaft speed whereas the turbo fan turns at 1.8x crankshaft speed. All turbo cars have straightblades...don't ask me why but I would think they have been purposefully built that way. I know the fan forces air through the intercooler to create a ram effect.

It would be interesting if you could ask Rob why he thinks the N/A fan flows more and if he has any data showing that it does.

Hi all , new to the forum and about to purchase my first porsche ( will start a new thread when it arrives home ) , i see you have converted a c4s to twin turbo , my question is aside from the abvious turbos and pipework , what else is needed when converting a N/A 993 to turbo?
Will the standard bottom end take it ok ?
