At that price, it would be worth it to sell the TT engine and build it to a NA class. Not certain where a lightweight NA widebody would be classified?
It is a fabulous deal for those who are thinking of building a track car. TT engine or not.

It could run in G class if the weight were put back in and the engine and tranny changed back to stock. Not sure about the AWD deletion, though, which is definitely a question for a PCA scrut.

NASA GTS would be a good racing class for that car. I say buy it!
You would have to have the stock uprights (no Evos) and the 4WD parts in place, but I see no reason that the front driveshaft could not be disconnected.

I too have looked at it a few times. I don't think the TT motor will push it to GT, it's the short gears. I think you could get away with this as an old "C" car since a 4S was a TT without a TT.

Yeah, it doesn't match up with much of any race class. Know what, though? (And I'll caveat again, IF it's a good car.) Guy gets into this for, realistically, less than a warmed over stockish 993 DE prepped car ends up costing. If the racing bug truly hits, get your feet wet, then move it along to another new up-and-comer. Assess where you stand vis-a-vis rules, experience, talent, your budget. Bottom line is that you probably have NOT spent that much to run the car for a couple of years worth of events, AND you'll be able to sell it for pretty much what you bought it for.

It is not even close to a C car: evo uprights, short gears, non stock turbos, promotive ecu programming, electronic boost controller.

It is changing a suspension component that is not allowed for in the rules. The GT3 parts were allowed because of reported failures in the stock parts.
