Lewis - Would the lady like to say a few words to the group about her new ride?

Default Avalanche?

OK, so the only thing between my wife and her new car is 9' of snow, avalanches and closed highways.
Intercity Lines has a tough one this time......

Default It's home

It was delivered last week while I was with my son, kart racing at the Florida Winter Tour at Homestead/Miami speedway. Saw it when we flew hom.
Have to say, the interior/exterior color combo is striking.

Intercity did an exceptional job as always.

OEM Litronics kit (about $2300) inbound from Jeff at Sunset Imports, TrafficPro to be installed at same time, the only item requiring attention is the driver side door check (broken off inside A pillar)

New set of floor mats (maybe Lloyds with Targa logo...or OEM, not sure), a detail and wait for the sand/salt to get off the roads in the spring.

Pictures, please.

Will she be spending any time at EPE to get ready for the Spring. If you do stop by there, make sure to say "hi" to my C2S.

Yes, as is customary, the car will have to meet Jerry's approval. He's going to fix the door check and take a look at the rest of it.

The dealer pics are on page 1 of this thread.
My wife took a few pics when Intercity was unloading it while I was away.....

Jerry had the guys next door take care of my door check. Here are the pics: https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...ferrerid=34752

They did a nice job, despite not taking the fender off and doing it with a spot weld from the outside.

The targa looks real nice. congrats

I'm really not that 'ride height sensitive' on any of my Porsches.....maybe I should be, but it just doesn't seem to bother me.

Default First drive impressions

Got a chance to drive the Targa for the first time (it was delivered when I was in Florida and it went straight into the heated garage).
Took it to the local dealer to have them go over the car top to bottom, usual 'blank check, whatever it needs' routine.

There is definitely something special about a Targa. Great driving experience with the sunshade retracted and the roof closed, much more 'open' than a coupe.

If I could only have one car/one Porsche, a Targa 4S would likely be it.
