i would probably soak & use a plastic scraper to remove thick gunk & then polish away.

After some good feedback I got me a can of Berryman's Chem Dip today. The first tip is taking is bath overnight. Let's see what happened to the gump tomorrow morning. That stuff is this nasty that I need to get me some chem resistant gloves.
