Default 997 GT3 wheels on a 993?

I think I like. My bad PS attempt probably reflects 19's, but If I do it, I'll grab a set of Wheel dynamics 18's. Thoughts?

virtual after-

Nice Photsp. IMHO Porsche designers were not very happy on the daisy wheels. Too floral for my taste and not aggressive enough for a car like the GT3. I prefer a million times the 996 GT3 wheels specially the MK1. They would look very nice on your car. In your car I would put the MK1 or the BBS (the most beautiful wheels on earth) (see atan's car)

Mk1 wheels (took this from Australian Paul's site - hope he don't mind)

Just my humble opinion, but 19's look a bit big to my eyes on a 993. They look fine on a 997, but it is a larger car.

Agreed, but as I said in the original post, I'd go with 18's.

The cut out petals seem to me to be a bit over sized and are seemingly out of scale for the 993, perhaps not so much in an 18" wheel. The 10 spoke wheels look pretty nice, are you tired of your hollow spokes? I'm in Hong Kong right now, where there are a few 993s in the parking garage of our friend's place. Seems like these owners are pretty private. My car should be loaded up Monday for the trip to Seattle, ETA December 4, I can hardly wait!

Many S-Class MB, Bentley, RR and Ferrari's here, have seen over a dozen Ferrari in one week
Not sure where these owners drive their cars like they're meant to be driven. Seems like police on motorbikes are everywhere.

Hey Harlan,
The twist wheels on 4S are solid spoke. I'm just exploring a change right now. This wheel is one of the few that will fit without spacers. Here is a better representation for an 18" wheel. I took the liberty to lower the car slightly.

I like the look. Reminds me of a 5-spoke wheel that has been hollowed out.

Ditto - the 18's definitely look better and are in proportion to the rest of the car. Nice!!

I had MK1 GT3 wheels on my 993. I would go with a set of factory 996 GT3 wheels if I were you.

Mark, I assumed you had HS wheels, much better scaled down to 18" proportions. Go for it if you can get a good deal for the new wheels!

IMHO, they don't fit the car. The styles clash. I like the MY02's, and the Speedline 993RS wheels, and a few others.

If you have a Wide Body car C2S or C4S you'll want to make sure the wheels are from a 996 Turbo not a 996GT3. The offsets are different plus the 996GT3 is not a Wide Body car.
