Anti-seize on aluminum lug nuts

Anti-seize on aluminum lug nuts
I need to re-install my aluminum wheels soon using aluminum lug nuts. I have heard to apply an anti-seize to the nuts and found an older post where there was a mixed feedback of using it for this purpose.
Do you recommend the use of anti-seize and what product do you use?
What part of the nut do you apply it to?
Are you putting it on the threads?
Does anyone have a procedure (with photos)?
This all might sound simple for you guys but I want to do it right the first time.
Thanks for your patience,
Erik

I understand any type of antisieze or lubricant changes the torque characteristics of a bolt. As much as I'd like to use something on my threads, I've steered clear to keep from over torqueing them.

All the wheel related Technical Service Bulletins starting from the eighties have a section specifically for aluminum wheel nuts, the steel fasteners are separate with no mention of them requiring lube;
"Aluminum wheels nuts require special care.
Before installing:
-- lubricate threads and shoulders of aluminum nuts with Optimoly HT, Part No 999-917-728-00 (Optimoly HT does not affect tightening torque)"
Later TSBs (1988-1989) referred to Optimoly TA, Part No 000-043-020-00
