Part numbers for the Turbo front fender liner support bracket: 993-505-793-01 and 993-505-794-01. PET Illustration #802-03. Jeff at Sunset has a pair on order for me and knows all about it. They have to come from Germany- 4 weeks.

+1 on new vent fittings. The old ones will break and they're only 40 cents each. One roll of weather stripping is all you need when you scavenge a couple of pieces off the C2 liners. A couple of Turbo fender liners are ~$90. Total for liners and all the correct do-dads to do it right the first time is ~$125.

It's quite clear that jim/matt and porsche are the only ones that know how to "properly" do this modification....... everyone else seems to say that they have recycled the old parts....

It's even clearer that you have quite an attitude for some reason... how about you go further out of your way to insult people? That would be neat.

Seriously, lighten up dude!
At least there were some other folks who could help you do this in a manner acceptable to you.
If others chose to do it differently, so be it... right?

It is not an insult- it is a technical matter about parts and the PET documents

Sorry if you were insulted- nothing personal just trying to get the facts...

And for some, duct tape and zip ties are fine but I was trying to find out the "official" way

Sorry to drag up this old thread, but I am about to embark on this myself and wondered if someone could provide a definitive full list of parts needed so I can order everything before I start.

TIA

Lee

From reading the post above yours, I think all you need are a cover, zip ties and duct tape

I would also like to see the actual list

Lee and Mark,

I have a Word Doc that is a couple of pages long with bumper cover hints and parts to have on hand.

Send me an email and I'll send it along.

Mike Cap,

Can I get a copy of your Word doc? I'll send you an email.

Thanks,
