Have searched the forum and I understand that biscuits are needed at the muffler tip end.
Question is, are they also needed for Bischoff mufflers where they connect to the (also Bischoff) cat?
None of the previous posts seem to mention this - the PET diagram for the exhaust system shows biscuits being used on both pipes from the mufflers.
There are two " biscuits" per muffler. One on the cat connection, and one on the tip connection. If you are switching from Gillet to Bischoff mufflers, you will use the same cat "biscuit" that the Gillet muffler uses. So you only need two for the tip connection (Gillets have the "buscuit" built in on the tip side only).
Thanks guys, you were right! just needed one biscuit per muffler as had Gillets on previously so could re-use the one biscuit from the cat connection on each side.
Grateful for the advice - Mike.
