Default Aventurine Green

I'm nutz. Maybe not as much as pjconner but I'm thinking about cashing out my M5 for this. My first 993 was this color which I didn't like but after seeing it again I'm reminded how cool the color is.

Depending on what year your M5 is the 993 will be much more enjoyable to drive.

Aventurine Green is a spectacular color. In the dark and shade it looks almost black, in sunlight it has a depth to it, I almost bought one, but it had an unknown history, so mechanically it was a risk.

Alright, I'll bite....

Aventurine is a great color. Understated and one of the more elegant colors. Can look blue-ish or sort of Graphite Grey or more dark green/grey depending on the type and intensity of the lighting. It's really a dark green/grey metallic with a touch of dark blue. Not common, either. The picture below looks a bit more blue.

Should be interesting to watch the bidding on eBay as mine was a close copy in most respects (mileage, color combo, options, condition) when I purchased it two years ago.

I just sold my Imola Red M5 for a '96 993tt in adventurine green. I think it is an amazing color, and you won't see too many like it.
