First of all, there are no dumb questions
Only one oil pressure sending unit. Its located on the right side just off center, forward (in the back of the engine). In other words, in a really tough place to get to with the engine in the car.
They have been known to be a source of oil leaks. Rather than an O-ring sealing it, an aluminum crush washer does the job. Sometimes just replacing the crush washer seals her back up, but you might as well replace the sender while your there. Senders have been known to get flaky anyhow.

Been there done that. I think the part cost me $25.00 and the labor........ouch. The part sits car forward on the engine. Replace the whole unit as Chris recommended.
