'95 993 FS...priced right?

Disclosure: I'm looking for a 993 cab.
-I think the market for Specialty cars like a 993, boats, and other pricey toys, will be going the way of the housing market... I think there's a correlation between the amount of spare money most have, and a 12 year old car that are expensive to maintain. ie. a non necessity.
Short term, (5yrs<), I'd say prices should be soft and declining... 25yrs from now, should be strong...
besides, I not sure theres a lot of buyers right now.... like housing.
I wish you had dates on the data points.... I'd try a 3D chart

If you're interested in how it changed over time, here ya go. The first is what I collected in Dec 2004. Second is from Autobaron (back when they still worked) from Dec 2005.
As we all know, prices have definitely dropped since then. Jon's chart seems reasonable (but a bit lower than I expected).

There are SO many variables. My chart is all '95s, FWIW. The mid-high $20s transactions all seem to have a "story" about them. A few questionable Craigslist cars can really bring down a trendline.
If someone were to get the past two years sales data of, say, Holt's pristine, no bodywork/no stories fully documented cars, I suspect it would look very different.

Just a question to throw out there: do any of you other guys own retail businesses, and directly see how things have tightened up in the past couple of months? Mine is vending, and I'm down about 10%. No big deal on the personal level, but lots of nervousness (especially at places like car dealers).

There are alot of Porsche friendly sites to post for sell ads: Pelican, PCA local, regional, national, POC, 6speedonline, etc.
IMHO: the 1995 993 is the greatest 993!! No OBDII issues and they're faster!
Hey whad' up with the TSB? Is this because we're "Corporate" now?

I think you're looking at 26-29, price at 30 or 31 and be prepared to come down
Sold a 98 4s less than a year ago for 34k and a ton of upgrades...seemed to only get tire kickers
GL though
