Default good source for 993 front windshield

anyone recently purchase a 993 front windshield??

friend with a 1995 C2 needs a new windshield and i wanted to get some info for him...he is in seattle,wa.

Find Dan Petchel in NJ. I think he might have a windshield. You can find him through the schattenbaum region PCA webpage. Don't have a clue about shipping, though. Tell him I sent you. (No relation, just trying to be helpful).

Do a search, if you haven't already.
I would recommend aftermarket glass and not OEM - my OEM was very pitted at around 69K. I thought I was getting aftermarket, but damn if they didn't use OEM - I am already getting some pitting after only 4K miles.

I just went thru this and could not find any aftermarket glass anywhere. The local stealer wanted $900+, I got mine from Suncoast for about $750. You could also call some of the local indies and see if they have someone they use to install windshields.

do some shopping around, over here, porsche dropped the price on the 993 windshields to 349 euros, thats $500, usually strategies like this are worldwide.

I'd like an aftermarket windshield too since my OEM one is horribly pitted.

I didn't think we could find aftermarket windshields anymore. Maybe that changed again?
