well if they fit like they do on the other polar silver posted above, they'll be perfect. Great choice!

Let us know how it goes

From the posts that I read, the 5mm spacers are used since the offset causes the wheel to retract a bit. I know that some folks putting these wheels on a 996 used 7mm spacers.

Where did you get your 5mm spacers? EagleDay sells an OEM kit htat consists of two 5mm spacer rings (black) with 4 countersunk retaining screws and 10 wheel bolts for $190.

Livermore Performance sells a 7mm H&R kit for $73.

I can't imagine that 2mm would make that much difference in appearance so I'm leaning towards the 7mm kit. Plus, Livermore is local to me so I can save on shipping.

Do you think that 2mm makes a difference?

Default No Spacers.

I did a little cleaning last weekend and took some pics. With no spacers at full lock slight rub. (See pics) Looks like I'll need spacers. Wondering if anyone is running lowered w/o spacers???
Suspension will be done before spring hopefully!

Electric pressure washer, Casteroil Superclean diluted w/ water 1 part Sc and 2 parts water, for the suspension parts, a all wheel cleaner safe for clear coated wheels (Eagle 1, Meguiars, ect...) The acid based cleaners will turn the aluminum white. Flat Silver and black Hi Temp engine paint for the hats. I used a little paint on the silver areas to touchup, but not much needed, thing looked good just after washing. I should have taped off the brake line before the silver touchup it really bothers me now. I'll have to go back and fix that.

Nuff,

WheelEnhancement included the spacers with my wheels, and I had them shipped to the shop that was working on my car already, so I haven't even seen the spacers...I'm just assuming they're in there, based on the shop having told me they put them on. I can't imagine them having an impact on handling, etc. but I'm not an engineer, just a low-level pilot...

Steve
