Default Racing Dynamic Wheels

I'm going to need new wheels soon. In my garage I have a set of Racing Dynamic wheels 17' that were on my old 91 BMW 535.

Never though of using them until I saw a picture of a 89 911 with them. How do I know if they will fit?

Look for markings on the back that have the offset (e.g. ET50) If there are none, measure the overall wheel width, and divide that by two. Then measure the backspacing. Now calculate the difference to get the offset. Once you have the offsets, post them here, and I am sure someone can help. Also make sure the bolt spacing is the same, I am not that familiar with BMW's.

Javier,

Best info I can find (on that amazing thing called the internet) is that you have 17 x 8" wheels, probably the RGS model. For a '91 5 series application, the offset will be be around 15. In other words, you'll need to run +++ spacers to reach the Porsche offsets of 50/65. Not to mention that you won't have staggered rim widths for front & rear. Long story short, answer is: no.

Spacers decrease the offset, so so if they are ET15 now, there will be no way to make them work. See explanation HERE. in POST #5.

I have a set on my E36 M3 (RGQ) and no way will those fit and the 5 series RGS will not fit at all due to offset.
