Default Will these wheels fit?

Guys, what do think of these? Will they work with an NB 993?

https://rennlist.com/forums/for-sale-ads-member-to-member-fs-wtb-free/347628-fs-8-and-9-5-x-17-hre-rims-late-offset.html

The back should fit. I'm just wondering about the fronts with 43 offset?

Thanks

Measure your clearance now, then play with my spreadheet posted HERE to find out how your clearances will change. Just a guess, but I doubt that you could go much bigger than 225's on the front with the 43 offset.

Thanks. 0.87 in closer to the lip. I'll measure in the morning but it seems like it should work with 225.

yes they should fit fine. a 43mm offset pushes your entire wheel inward. if you put a 7mm spacer then you have the stock offset. that would be the obvious fix. with a 7mm spacer you could run a 235/245 tire, but on a 8" wheel you wouldn't want to go more than that anyway.

No offense, but think again, the lower the offset, the greater it will be outboard. A spacer will make the distance from the mounting surface to the centerline smaller, not larger. If you add a 7mm spacer to an ET43 offset wheel, you will effectively have an offset of ET36. It is a bit counter-intuitive !

The Following Diagram was borrowed from Bill Verbergs Wheel Fitment Page:

I am running 245 PS2s on 9" ET42 rims with very lightly rolled fenders. Previously had the 245s on 8.5" ET46 with no clearance issues.

993_Pilot. sorry your explanation is correct. don't know what i was thinking - brain fart for the moment. In any case the answer is it will still fit. i ran a 245 on a 9" wheel with a 43mm offset with non-coil overs.

Oh well, you had a brain fart, and I had a bad guess in my first post. Apparently he will be able to go with a bigger tire than a 225.
