Default 993 GT2 Steering Knuckle on AWD cars?

I am interested in replacing my "steering knuckle" (what I have always called the wheel carrier -- its the thing you press the wheel bearing into) on my 95 C4 with the GT2 part (993-341-157-81). I am worried that since the GT2 was a RWD car, that these wheel carriers cannot accept a driveshaft. Anyone know if that is the case, or will these work with the AWD cars just fine? Thx!

p.s. I know that I will need newer GT2 tie-rods when upgrading to these parts.

Thanks for the quick reponse -- I'll go ahead with my order from pelican (they didn't know the answer when I asked them, and suggested I post here). TGFWW (thank god for web wisdom)!

993-341-158-81-M100:
Steering Knuckle, 993 GT2, Lightweight Upright, Right Side, NOTE: When converting from street version also use 1 993-347-031-80 tie rod Brand: Genuine Porsche
$764.00

993-347-031-80-M800:

As Chris said they will work

Either the stub axle or half shaft mounts the same way.

The price is going through the roof(just in case no one else noticed)

$539 for the uprights, and $277 for the rods now at Pelican.. Hmm.. Do you need a realignment after the swap? Are the bearings tough to get out?

Yeah, you're disassembling the front suspension.

And the bearing thing is pretty moot, as I can't imagine why anyone would reuse press fit bearings. Absent not having a spare during an endurance race or something, and needing to get the car back on track at nearly any cost.

And while we're on the topic, Bill or anyone have the camber/toe curves for the suspensions with either sets of uprights installed?

Did this on my turbo, well worth it if your car is a little lower, gets rid of all the bumpsteer and makes steering more precise, and yes, bearings and geo needed

this is on my To-do list. Nice to have a ballpark part cost...are those the only major pieces needed-uprights and rods, besides the bearings and hardware?

They were never a dealer item, PMS or aftermarket only

Carnewal has the the full kit, carriers + mono-ball tierods+bearings ~$1770

I put in new ABS sensors, instead of trying to persuade the old ones to come out of the original uprights.
