Mine was peeled my first night with the car, along with the Porsche alarm system stickers on the rear windows. I like the clean look (other than my PCA and Rennlist stickers, of course)!

I think it's actually required by the EPA and dates back to the days when you could buy either leaded or unleaded gas at most stations. It wouldn't surprise me if removing the label constitutes "tampering" with the emissions system putting you at risk for a failed inspection from an overzealous smog inspector. I guess put the sticker removal in the same catagory as running without a front license plate...esthetically pleasing but with the potential to create headaches if you live in certain states.

That the EPA required them would be a good argument if these unleaded cars were only shipped to the US but they are shipped to other "unleaded" countries that don't have the EPA as well and they have the sticker too.

The EPA requirement mandates them in the US but I think you'll find any car with a cat has the sticker....for obvious reasons.

I went the other route. I bought an additional one from Pelican for $8 and put it on the clock for symmetry purposes.

Diesel is unleaded so that theory goes straight into the trashcan!

This must be a US only sticker because here in Europe I have only seen it in US import cars!
