Default Additional Remote

Hey all,

My new TT came with only one central locking remote. I've already ordered an extra key blank and cap with the light in it. I see the "remote housing" on Pelican, but I can't seem to find the actual circuit board piece of it (the innards). Does anyone know where one could find one of these?

Thanks in advance,
Charlie

lol...see that's why I said to add it to your list.

Anyways you can get the FOB (programmable) from Sunset. You will then take the registration to your dealer to get the key code if you don't already have it. Then you will do the dance and hope you have success. :-)

I went to McKenna Porsche yesterday and handed the service manager my registration and told him I needed the immobiliser code. He came back after a few minutes with a printout. no charge.

Thanks for the info. I've read the remote-setting instructions online, it seems like a real PITA.

It should work if the code matches the box. In other words, if the immobilizer unit that resides under the seat hasn't been replaced by the PO.
