Default Valve tapping noise from lower valve covers, driver side gone...

Easy fix. While replacing the lower bank of plugs this afternoon following oil change on the red car, two plugs on the drivers, lower bank were actually only hand tight! I could literally turn the socket with my hand. No more tapping noise. Can't wait to drive it.

I find it very common for plugs to be really really loose. no worries, completely normal!

Whew...! I noticed that the ones in the black car were not nearly as 'loose' but not cranked in either.

Marlon: that's very interesting. Do you know if the plugs were the original ones from the factory?

The plugs had been replaced at the 30-someK mile point in New York with Beru 2-conductor type. I am replacing with Bosch 3-conductor FR5DTC.
