Oh, c'mon guys. With Christmas right around the corner, this car is nothing if not festive.

I hope that dealer is the one that let him order it. Now he had to step up on it and take it back in trade I think that one will be in inventory for a while. I mean, could there be TWO people on the planet that will think that is cool?
Or, maybe someone who is colorblind is going to get the deal of the century

Well, that solves it. Now I know why 993's have held their value so much better than 996's!

Oh wait, nevermind. It's because they're actually good looking. :-)

I will agree that if 993's never existed that I would have probably owned a 996. However, since the good lord gave The Porsche boys the talent to design the 993 as a "holdover" from the 964 until the 996 could be built, we all got our dream cars!!

I had a 996 TT walk up to me the other day, and actually say, "Oh my god!. Man ,what year is that Porsche? 1996? God, that is soooo beautiful. I have never seen one like that before!! Dude, I gotta tell ya, I love my car but man that thing is simply awesome". Kinda makes you feel like you made the right choice after all. And that came from a guy who also has a Ferrari and a Maserati Quattroporte on order. I rest my case. Pure, classic style is undeniable.

Thanks, Dave. I am proud just to own it, much more so to drive it. Pete993 took very, very good care of it before I got my hands on it. I have just tried to uphold the tradition!! :-)

So would it be work it for someone to buy it and change out the interior...?

For someone wanting a 996 and willing to do some work it might be worth it.

Hmmm...

Porsche must have had a computer glitch in their system in preparation for Y2K that had the color option boxes shuffled.

Although I don't think that color combo is worthy of a Porsche, I remember this car being for sale in the past. If memory serves me....it seems the original buyer (maybe he ordered it) was a huge Miami Hurricane fan, hence the color combo
