Default OT: more people should order 911's like this

A nectarine over nephrite green (with red accents) 996.

While I don't care for this exact color combo, I dig the concept. An early 70's (and classic) 911 color on a modern car. And a crazy interior (but better for someone color blind).

I dig crazy colors. If anyone ever comes across an extra 993 in an early 70's color, let me know. I know, I know, I should get in line since there is a plethora of mexico, turquoise, riviera, conda, signal, kelly, viper 993's out there.

Warning. Do not have any liquid in your mouth when you look at the interior shots. The liquid will end up on the keyboard after travelling through your nose.

But, you gotta give the guy credit - he knew what he liked and did something about it.

The 996 is ugly enough...it didn't need any help with those interior colors.

Programming a 996 FOB is a piece of cake.

LOL...and probably has 40ft range as well. Are you sure your 993 isn't truly a 996 converted to a 993?

Come on guys. You have to appreciate it. I agree that might not be everyone's favorite color combo but how much fun did the guy have ordering it?

Even better - how much fun did the sales associate have?

Wow...a '99 with 53k on it and they are asking just under $30k.

Boy if I was looking for a track car with a gutted interior it would be a place to start!

Buy it and another 996 (a black/black or silver/black car)
Put the black interior in the orange car. Put the nephrite green interior int the black or silver car. Leave the orange steering wheel and shifter boot etc into the orange car. Put the black steering wheel and shifter in the nephrite green interior......

or....

only post black and white photos of the car in question.

tmc, I've got to agree with you. That's going to be one hard to sell car.
