OT - 430 spider or Carrera GT? from FerrariChat
I have been frequenting the FerrariChat 360/430 forum recently and came across this thread which I posted in the CGT forum: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=171306.
Maybe I am a dumbass (ok, I am) but I didn't realize what a supercar the CGT was... and was further surprised by the f-car owners' recognition of this.

I think the GT1 looks so much better though...
And I really didn't expect those reactions from ferrari owner's, pretty cool of them.

I think I'd take the 430 spider and a 997 GT3. Or a 430 coupe and a 997 GT3RS and some mod money. Of course I've never been in any of these cars, so its all speculation.

The F430 and CGT are different price points, so I don't see that this is a true comparison.
Isn't an F430 in the $200K range while the CGT is $450K
Both are clearly exotics.
I think the Murceilago is closer to the price point of a CGT.
The GT2 is probably cloesr in price to the F430.
