Tony, Rockville porsche did ok once they had the right remote, they tried selling me a new module because they ordered a remote with the wrong frequency and it wouldn't program, (it looked the same, but label has different frequency) I did some homework and showed them they made a mistake .They wouldn't admit it but took the incorrect one back saying it must be defective!

How recent was this and were the able to program it? They're like 15 mins away and will be more convenient than going to Tischer where another local lister has had success.

They were able to do it,the parts dept. screwed up and didn't realize there was more than 1 to choose from and they didn't want to look stupid, after I ordered another one from them they gave it a try, reluctantly. and took the incorrect one back This was back in April, labor was $115.00 once they had the right one it took about 45 mins. I waited for it.
correct Part #P993-618-259-02

Thanks, I have two that need programming. And since I had a near death experience yesterday (thought I lost my one working fob), I'm going to get this done asap.

It is pretty easy to do as long as you have one working fob. Stop by some time and we can do it. Otherwise, the how to is on the p-car website. You need your key code.

I reprogrammed mine in the garage.

Thanks for the offfer!

lol...trust me...I've tried numerous times, I know the code and sequence and have read just about every thread on here pertaing to the dance. I think my immobilzer may not match the code in PCNA database. I plan on stopping by Tischer on Friday morning to see if they have better luck. There are a few of us on here who haven't been able to do it...
