Default 993 and Dual Distributors?

I have a 964 with the dual distributors, but was wondering about the 993 series (1997 C2 cab to be specific)... do the 993's also run the dual distributors, or did they go to a pointless ignition by '97? The pictures I can find of 993 engine bays don't show enough detail for me to figure it out for myself. Thanks!

993 same as 964 old school ignition system. Porsche upgraded to individual coil ignition on the 996 model.

IOW, the 993 also uses a small belt from the primary to drive the secondary distributor? In the 964, there was an after sale kit that "aerated" the distributors to reduce the corrosive effect of ozone on that belt... same deal with the 993?
